Ginkgo trees in Kashmir

Ginkgo biloba is one of the oldest living tree species. It is cultivated around the world for its medicinal properties and aesthetic value. The seeds and the leaves have been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat respiratory diseases, circulatory disorders, sexual dysfunction, and loss of hearing.

Nanking Cherry plants Kashmir

Latin name: Prunus tomentosa 
Synonyms: Cerasus tomentosa
Family: Rosaceae (Rose Family)

 
Prunus tomentosa is a species of Prunus native to northern and western China (including Tibet), Korea, Mongolia, and  Kashmir. Common names for Prunus tomentosa  include Nanjingcherry, Korean cherry, downy cherry, Shanghai cherry, Ando cherry, mountain cherry, Chinese bush cherry, and Chinese dwarf cherry.
Juicy, sub-acid to sweet. The unripe fruits can be pickled. The fruit is about 12mm in diar and contains one large seed. Seed - raw or cooked. Do not eat the seed if it is too bitter - see the notes above on toxicity. The buds are cooked and eaten. (Is this the flower or leaf buds?)'
